Hey, I'm miletichz and I'm the one who provided the link to Alvin's preview n episode 9.
As much as it pleases me to see Basilisx fail to execute Mario, I like to share my sympathy towards Alvin. As you all know, Alvin has retired from sprite animation. Can't say it's the first time, though. Because when you take your own creative mind for granted, working on the series itself turns from being a fun hobby to an uncomfortable chore. What's more alarming: Alvin has stated that this is in no way an April fool's joke or stunt. Furthermore, it is unknown whether Alvin has retired temporarily or forever (I'd say forever, no offense).
In other words, let me propose a toast to Alvin and this amazing flash series that has proven to be a possible story for an epic Mario & Sonic RPG!

Alvin, or Mark, has just deactivated his user page on deviantART. This has lead me to fear the worst, like all other fans. Is Mark truly abandoning SMBZ forever? Or did he just wanna do it out of saving money?
